A mailing list has been established for early adopters of IPv6 who need help setting up their IPv6 based networks and network stacks, connecting to the 6bone, getting applications to work with IPv6 and with other similar problems.
Note that as an anti-spam measure, you must join the list in order to post to it.
On topic discussions include where to find IPv6 implementations, how to get address blocks assigned (test or otherwise), where to find patches for common software to add IPv6 awareness, where to find IPv6 capable routers or firmware for existing routers, etc.
The mailing list, users@ipv6.org, may be subscribed to via majordomo. If you do not know how to use majordomo, click here.
Note that although developers of IPv6 stacks are strongly encouraged to join the mailing list to help the early adopters, this list is not intended for discussions of IPv6 stack development issues -- it is there to help the users of the technology.
The IETF's IPv6 Working Group maintains a mailing list for working group discussions. Note that the working group mailing list is a place for the group members to do work on protocol development -- it is not an answer line for IPv6 questions. If you have questions about IPv6, the users@ipv6.org mailing list is a much better place to go.
